The Dodge County Indians (3-4) hosted the Thomson Bulldogs (2-4) this past Friday night in Eastman at Memorial Stadium. This game was the second region game for the Indians.
First quarter of play was a battle of the defenses. The Bulldogs first possession found them in the red zone deep into Indian territory. But, the Indian defense held strong on a fourth and goal to keep the Bulldogs from scoring on their first drive.
The Indian offense would answer back but they too could not score as the Bulldog defense stopped them from getting into the end zone.
At the end of the first quarter, the game was scoreless at zero as the strong defensive linemen of both teams stopped both offensive teams.
