At least one political party is an avid advocate of open borders. The Libertarian Party’s 2004 platform called for “the elimination of all restrictions on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for all people who have entered the country illegally.”
No wonder the LP is stuck on or around one percent of the vote, despite having been in business for more than thirty years, thus the name “losertarian party.”
You won’t get credit for it:
“President George H.W. Bush created ‘diversity visas,’ massively increased legal immigration and eliminated the English requirement on the naturalization test. In the 1992 election, he won 25 percent of the Hispanic vote - less than what Romney got.”

D.A. King knows immigration issues and he says Republicans are wasting their time reaching out to Hispanics. He’s right. Remember back when House Speaker Newt Gingrich was trying to get statehood for Puerto Rico? What could Newt have been thinking?
“Documenting millions of undocumented Democrats is a ridiculous approach to electing a conservative president or saving the remnants of the Republican Party.”

The economy in Mexico is expanding at almost twice the U.S. rate and they continue to dump their social problems on us, probably a big reason for the economic expansion. Mexico has no “safety net” of social programs for needy Mexicans, other than their Northern border offering easy entry into the USA.
Bumper sticker of the day: Stop Importing Poverty Close The Border.
America 2013: Too few jobs, too few pipelines.
Is another open-borders Republican cave-in in the works? Probably.
“How, my naive friends, can Republicans -- self-proclaimed conservatives as they are -- do an about-face on a fundamental plank in the conservative platform? When have conservatives, British or American, done anything else?”
Elvis Nixon is right as usual. The Republicans are ready to fold again as we can see in May 2013 - nothing new there.
Will we now replace the U.S. Constitution with United Nations treaties?
Look behind the facade - behind the glitz and lies lies the real story.
The proposed immigration reform/amnesty bill is 844 pages long, a typical government project.
