John Hawkins of RightWingNews.com and Townhall.com, says the Republican establishment always prefers moderates to conservatives. “It should tell you something when the GOP establishment always, always, ALWAYS prefers the least conservative candidate.”
He’s right. The establishment backed “moderates” Charlie Crist and Arlen Specter. Both lost to conservative challengers and became Democrats. The Republican “leaders” who claim they look out for us always oppose the rising libertarian-conservative upstarts in the party, the ones with fortitude and good ideas. The deal-making spineless leadership opposes innovative thought from liberty-oriented candidates.
“The real message is, ‘We’re so frightened by our own base that we’d rather back future Democrats like Charlie Crist and Arlen Specter than movement conservatives.’”

Mother Jones, a very liberal magazine, calls Texas Congressman Steve Stockman, “the nuttiest freshman in Congress.” Actually, Steve is not a freshman, he’s a sophomore, back in the House after a 16-year absence, now representing a newly created district in suburban Houston. He was first elected in the Republican sweep of 1994, knocking off 42-year incumbent Democrat Jack Brooks, who had been misserving Texans for 21 terms, since 1952.
Steve Stockman said at the time that if he did nothing else, he got rid of Jack Brooks. He would tell people in Washington, “I’m Steve Stockman. I’m the guy who beat Jack Brooks.” Good for Steve. And if liberal publications are ripping you, it’s always a plus.

If they don’t like you they call you “controversial” or “polarizing.” Have you noticed - liberals love those buzzwords.
Gasoline was $1.84 per gallon when Obama took office on January 20, 2009. It’s now around $3.84. You don’t hear any media outrage since Obama is a Democrat.
CNSNews.com calls Obama the $6 Trillion Man. The debt is up that much under him.

Ron Paul has retired from Congress and is safely out of D.C. (District of Corruption), still fighting for freedom at the same toll-free number 1-888-322-1414. Julie Newmar, the original Catwoman in the Batman television series, is now 78 and says she’s a Ron Paul fan. Good for Julie. JulieNewmar.com
