Instead the rate of uninsured drivers jumped from 26.3 percent in 2000, before the law went into effect, to 29.3 percent in 2008, one year before Richardson left office, making it the number one state for percentage of uninsured drivers.
“By 2009, the last year figures were available, the state dropped to second place with 25.7 percent of its drivers uninsured,” writes Brenda Walker on VDare.com 9-10-12
So New Mexico is second of the 57 states? I just had to say that. If you’re not reading VDare.com, you’re missing a lot.
Liberty and prosperity: You don’t get that from the Democrats but you do get a lot of new uninsured motorists.
I realize many voters are still asleep but you’d think $4 a gallon (and more) gasoline would be a wake-up call.
Welcome back: ROTC is back on campus at Harvard for the first time in forty years.
Remember Scott Van Duzer, the 46-year old fitness buff and pizza shop owner in Fort Pierce, Florida who gave the campaigning President Obama a bear hug back in September? Mr. Van Duzer says a lot of people in Fort Pierce are now boycotting his store in retaliation for his support of Obama. Oddly, Van is a registered Republican in Florida and claimed he voted for Obama in 2008 and planned to do so in 2012. Sounds like a RINO northeastern liberal Republican to me.
Why should Van worry about a boycott when each day the newspapers, television and radio media claim their hero is wildly popular just about everywhere? You’d think his support for Obama would be sending a lot of business his way.

Bill Clinton claimed in September, Republicans were “haters.” Then Sandra Fluke stepped up and spewed anti-Republican venom. In 2007 Bill Clinton and Joe Biden both claimed Obama was not qualified to be president. BC had a spouse running and Crazy Joe B. was running himself.
Now that Joe Biden is out of the Senate, who is the dumbest U.S. Senator? Many say Patti Murray (D-Washington).

Three Washington state Democrats introduced a bill in the legislature to require lawful gun owners to submit to a yearly home inspection, reports LastResistance.com writer Frank Camp 2-19-13.
The bill, eight pages long, drew surprise from two of the three sponsors, who admitted they hadn’t read the bill and didn’t know the home inspection was in it. Does this tell you something about the legislative process? Remember, Washington is a very liberal state. It’s not at all like next-door Idaho.
