Dodge County Sheriff Jeff Hinson reports that Dodge Sheriff’s narcotic investigators are making a significant impact on the drug sale problem in Dodge County.
Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a residence near the James Avenue water treatment plant in Eastman last Thursday, February 18. Sheriff’s deputies seized a large quantity of suspected cocaine and marijuana at the residence. Sheriff’s narcotic investigators, as result of the search, have charged Joseph Bernard Phillips (age 30) of Eastman, with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and one (1) count for the sale of cocaine.
Sheriff’s narcotic investigators arrested three individuals on Monday, February 22. Stephino Demaris Harrell (age 25) of Eastman, was arrested by investigators. Harrell has been charged with two (2) counts of the sale of cocaine as the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation in the county. Investigators arrested Zachary Carnell Branch (age 31) of Eastman, and charged him with the sale of cocaine. Antuan Spikes (age 17) of Eastman, was arrested and charged by narcotics investigators with the sale of marijuana.
Dodge County Sheriff’s narcotic investigators and agents of the Oconee Drug Task Force made an arrest Monday, February 15 as a result of an ongoing narcotic sales investigation. Officials have charged Joshua Antwon Roberson (age 23) of Eastman, with six (6) counts of the sale of cocaine and one (1) count of the sale of marijuana as result of the joint investigation.
Dodge County deputies responded to a fight on J.T. Barlow Road on Saturday, February the 13, which led to another drug arrest. Deputies found Tina Jo Jackson (age 29) of Eastman, walking down the road and arrested Jackson. Jackson allegedly had been involved in the reported fight. Deputies reported that as they approached Jackson, she allegedly attempted to swallow some methadone. Jackson has been charged with violation of the controlled substance act and obstruction.
