For years we “right-wingers” have correctly been claiming that foreign aid does not help its intended beneficiaries but instead goes into the pockets of the world’s despots. WorldNetDaily.com reported that no one outside Arafat’s closest cronies knew about the theft. Now some do.
Hats off to the few American politicians who vote against this madness. Most Republicans blindly go along with the foreign aid waste. This could be a big differentiating issue between the two parties if the Republicans had enough sense to do the right thing and expose the waste. The great Sam Francis (shotsfired.us) called the Republicans the Stupid Party. He was right.
Barack Obama wasn’t elected to the U.S. Senate until 2004, yet he supposedly voted against the Iraq war on October 11, 2002, according to Associated Press reporter Ben Feller. You can always believe it if you read it in an AP (Agenda Press) story, can’t you.
It’s a shame, isn’t it. Newsmax.com headline on 2-16-10 reads; Democrats Reel Under Losses of Veteran Lawmakers, Declining Poll Numbers. There are a lot of liberals quitting to “spend more time with the family.”
Senator John Kerry (remember him?) recently told CNN’s Larry, king of the liberal talk show hosts, that Sarah Palin “represents the transformation in American Politics to Entertainment.” I’m glad he explained her popularity to us. That’s probably how Ronald Reagan got elected in four blowouts out of four elections. Ronnie was just an entertainer.
For such a weak candidate, Sarah gets a lot of attention. Liberals can’t stop talking about her. The Palinator is driving them crazy, or crazier. Good!
The Obama spending machine is incomprehensible and unsustainable.
“Not that this is what he’s promising, but if BHO never again spent another dime, the US would still never again run surpluses, not in my lifetime.”

Tom is right and he should know – “temporary” refugees never go home. He’s been saying this for years, almost alone at first.
“Like most emergency programs set up by government, the benefits of gaining ‘Temporary Protected Status,‘ or TPS, as a refugee do not expire when the emergency has passed. In government jargon, ‘temporary’ can be 20 years - or forever.”

From The Denver Post, Howard Pancratz article:
Robin Hood has been charged with identity theft. That’s Robin Joshua Hood, 34, not of Sherwood Forest but of Denver, Colorado. Mr. Hood found a wallet in downtown Denver and took the identity of the owner. He explained to investigators he was wanted for drug violations and needed a name change to avoid arrest on the Denver warrant.
His plan unraveled when he was stopped leaving a record shop with three pilfered baseball caps worth a total of $44.97. One must be careful when wanted by police.
What is worse in this case was the police found four “injection needles” in his left front pocket. Mr. Hood told an officer “I use them for heroin.” At least he was honest, sort of.
