Dodge County is accepting sealed written bids from professional, licensed and qualified contractors for the construction of a new Eastman Mental Health Facility with associated site work to be located at Morgan Creek Drive, Eastman, Georgia 31023.
The project consists of the construction of one wood framed building of approximately 5,485 S.F. and site work including minimal grading, utilities, walkways and paving in accordance with drawings and specifications prepared by Pieper, O’Brien, Herr Architects, 3000 Royal Boulevard South, Alpharetta, Georgia 30022
The plans and specifications, contract information, and bid forms are available for review at the offices of the Heart of Georgia Altamaha RC in Eastman, GA on Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m., and the McGraw Hill - Dodge Plan Rooms in Atlanta during normal business hours. These documents can be purchased by contacting the Architect at (770) 569-1706. There will be a nonrefundable fee of $100.00 for each set of plans and specifications.
If you choose to submit a written bid for this project, your sealed bid must be marked “SEALED BID, DODGE COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY, GRANT NO. 07-p-y-045-1-3350”, and delivered to the RC, no later than 2:00 pm, on Monday, August 24, 2009. All bids will be opened during a public bid opening at that time and location. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
Each bidder must include in their sealed bid. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount payable to the Dodge County from a company authorized to do business in the State of Georgia.
The successful bidder will have 180 consecutive calendar days after issuance of the Notice-To-Proceed to complete this project.
Dodge County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
Both a performance bond and a payment bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
The project will be funded in part by the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program administered by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. EASTMAN MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY

DODGE COUNTY
Dodge County is accepting sealed written bids from professional, licensed and qualified contractors for the construction of a new Eastman Mental Health Facility with associated site work to be located at Morgan Creek Drive, Eastman, Georgia 31023.
The project consists of the construction of one wood framed building of approximately 5,485 S.F. and site work including minimal grading, utilities, walkways and paving in accordance with drawings and specifications prepared by Pieper, O’Brien, Herr Architects, 3000 Royal Boulevard South, Alpharetta, Georgia 30022
The plans and specifications, contract information, and bid forms are available for review at the offices of the Heart of Georgia Altamaha RC in Eastman, GA on Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m., and the McGraw Hill - Dodge Plan Rooms in Atlanta during normal business hours. These documents can be purchased by contacting the Architect at (770) 569-1706. There will be a nonrefundable fee of $100.00 for each set of plans and specifications.
If you choose to submit a written bid for this project, your sealed bid must be marked “SEALED BID, DODGE COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY, GRANT NO. 07-p-y-045-1-3350”, and delivered to the RC, no later than 2:00 pm, on Monday, August 24, 2009. All bids will be opened during a public bid opening at that time and location. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
Each bidder must include in their sealed bid. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount payable to the Dodge County from a company authorized to do business in the State of Georgia.
The successful bidder will have 180 consecutive calendar days after issuance of the Notice-To-Proceed to complete this project.
Dodge County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
Both a performance bond and a payment bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
The project will be funded in part by the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program administered by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Bidders will comply with Executive Order No. 11246 as amended, entitled “Equal Employment Opportunity,” the “Labor Standards Provisions for Federal and Federally assisted Contracts” including Davis-Bacon and relate Act requirements set forth in DCA’s “Special Supplement General Conditions for CDBG Block Grant Program”.
