To all of central Georgia:
I am writing to say a few words for those who do not work as waitresses and servers.
Treat us the same way you want to be treated

Some people pay with a credit or debit card and add the tip to the space on the credit receipt marked, "Tip." That's the way I do it. So are you certain that is not the case when people are not leaving actual cash on the table? Make sure your management is not stealing from you!

Hi BollaTruth Yes dear alot of people do pay with a credit or debt card and not leave cash on table. The one that runs the regester tries to make sure the waitress gets her tips if it's left on card. I've waited on alot of people in my life time and I was raised to do the best job I could no matter where I worked. There are times when you do that job and Nothing is left for you it makes you feel belittled. I am just like anyone else trying to make a living doing what I enjoy. I have a family to support and bills to pay. when I know I've done my job for the customer It feels good until they leave and NO tip is there to show their appreication for my services. If it were not for the waitress and servers everyone would be doing it all themselves. I understand what your saying, I'm sure it happenes in some places where the management keeps the tips but I can't say that they do that there, It's just not left at all.
