From TheoSpark.net: “Evening news is where they begin with ‘Good evening,’ and then proceed to tell you why it isn’t.”
The school textbook business is a $10 billion industry and is dominated by just three publishers. Many textbooks have enormous biases and are riddled with factual mistakes. All three publishers refused interview requests from FOX News Network, says reporter Tucker Carlson.
The United States first created a minimum wage law in 1938.
“For decades the federal government has had a minimum wage law to keep people from being paid too little. Now it is enacting a maximum wage law to keep them from being paid too much. It doesn’t cover everyone, but with a foot in the door, it will be a small step toward broader coverage.”

Bumper sticker of the day: Sorry Yet?
The Associated Press assigned eleven reporters to fact check Governor Sarah Palin’s new book before the book was even released.
The AP whines that Sarah misstated her travel expenses. Of course, the AP doesn’t fact check Obama’s books or any of the vexing problems now being debated in Congress.
At least the eleven reporters are still working, at least for now. The AP announced a layoff of an undisclosed number of employees on November 17.
Liberal talking head Michael Smerconish breezily dismissed Sarah Palin as a presidential candidate, sniffing, “I don’t think she’s ready for prime time.” Actually, she has a lot more political experience than the man Smerconish enthusiastically endorsed for president, The O-Man.
Smerconish also gushed at being chosen to introduce another of his liberal heroes, Colin Powell, at a function last year. Michael said he was “honored” at being so chosen. Check out which candidate this character is backing and then run the other way.

As I type this, the television set in the background has a split screen with FOX Network’s Judge Andrew Napolitano interviewing Congressman Ron Paul, a great one-two punch. Dr. Paul, when asked last year who he liked for a running mate, mentioned Judge Napolitano.
Ron Paul’s toll-free message is there toll-free at 1-888-322-1414.
Don’t forget - the National Rifle Association endorsed liberal Demo party switcher, newly minted liberal Republican Greg Laughlin over Ron Paul in the 1996 Republican Primary for Congress.
Gun-free zone on U.S. campuses and even U.S. military bases are good examples:

Sometimes a liberal gets it right:
