To The Editor:
Did you know? AP declares Obama “Kenyan born”. What most people know is that the Associated Press (AP) is one of the largest internationally recognized Syndicated news services.

What most people don’t know is that in 2004 the AP was a “Birther” news organization. How so? Because in a syndicated report, published Sunday June 27, 2004, by the Kenyan Standard Times, and which was, as of this report. http:\\web.archive.org\web\200040627I42700\eastandard.net\headlinesnews26060403 .htm. The AP reporter stated the following: “Kenyan-Born U.S. Senate hopeful Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival Jack Ryan dropped out of the race. This report explains the context of the oft cited debate, between Obama and Alan Keyes in the following fall of 2004 in which Keyes faulted Obama for not being a natural born citizen, and which Obama, by his quick retort, “So what? I am running for the Illinois Senator, not the president of the United States,” self-admitted that he was not eligible for the the office (of president). Seeing that an AP reporter is too professional to submit a story which was not based on confirmed sources (ostensibly the Obama campaign in this case), the inference seems inescapable:
Obama himself was putting out in 2004, that he was born in Kenya!!! He is an illegitimate president, He was not a natural born citizen as the Constitution states very clearly that you must be to hold the office of the presidency. Why have our Senators and Representatives not started eviction notices to be served with the backing of the FBI?
I think the reason why is that the people running Washington now do not care one way or the other. I think most of them have just been waiting for someone to come along who could lead us into a Socialist Country. They have not opposed him in anything he has wanted to do since he was elected. Only the Republicans have gone up against him over the health care take-over. I sincerely hope the residents of Dodge County will take a good look at what a mess the new administration has made for our countr, and start working for the 2010 elections in November we must vote most of those people out of office starting with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and every House of Representatives from the State of Georgia who have gone along with Obama’s agenda.

Also, if you follow a few links you can only find one instance of this event on the internet. Why is Helene Wright allowed to pass off false rumors and plagiarized work as her own?

I sure would like to see some integrity in the opinion section of this paper. Unfortunately, unsubstantiated rumors, blatant falsehoods, and innuendo are protected speech.

The URL Link you have provided does not work, I have tried to correct any possible errors in the URL and it returns an invalid page.

It is considered proper to always provide the Title of any article that you reference, as well as a specific date of publication in the chance that the URL you provide is incorrect.

The title of the article is the same as the title of this article, with the exception of the verb being in past tense instead of present:

I am surprised that you two would even bother to read the fish-wrapper Dodge County News. I read negative responses by Matt Oxley all the time. Now the"Plagiarism Police"! Maybe I'll quit reading the opinion section so I won't see your comments.
I did not read Mrs. Wright's article as being plagiarized. I read it as she was stating part of what was stated in another article.
But according to a certain Representative that I am not at liberty to name( I don't have his permission)Obama is still under investigation concerning this.

The international civil and political rights organization known as Action for Justice ( AXJ ) already published the documents and has had the longest thread going on the internet with over 30,000 posts on it. Yes in fact the document published by AXJ-HAWAII shows that Mr. OBAMA FILED a request for citizenship in Hawaii but it was not ACCEPTED. Just google AXJ-HAWAII to see the documents published.

The demand for documentation of Barack Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office is surging, with lawmakers in several states now working on legislation that could be used to require future presidential candidates to reveal precisely how they are qualified under the U.S. Constitution's demand for a "natural born citizen." I have repeatedly contacted my U.S. Senators & Congressman about this illegal-alien and they seem to be content with "go along, get along" and don't want to make waves. Hence it is going to be up to the individual states to codify a Constitutional definition of "natural born citizen", require original signatures on nomination paper certifications(not the copied signatures Pelosi provided) AND a copy of the candidate's original Birth Certificate before the name can be placed on the state's presidential election ballot. Obama mentions his Birth Certificate on page 26 of "Dreams of My Father" so he could just provide a copy of that one. Afterall it is probably the "source document" a Hawaiian official claims is on file in Honolulu. OR it could be the Kenyan BC. Also we are still not sure which citizenship Obama attended college as. If we can keep Obama off the ballot in just two states he won't have the audacity to run for re-election. So please write your state level senators to sponsor and support this legislation.

The letter is essentially false. The reference to Obama being born in Kenya is an addition made by the Kenyan newspaper itself, and did not appear in the AP story, nor did it appear in other contemporary newspapers that picked up the story.

Change the backslashes in the URL given to the proper slashes, e.g., use http://web.archive.org/..... and not http:\\web.archive.org\.....

The backslash as shown means something completely different than a slash means. Look at the address line in the page you are looking at right now for the right direction the slash should go.

I can't believe I'm still reading about this. It was resolved YEARS ago. The valid birth certificate was shown and is available for anyone to see, as well as other countless factual documents proving he is an American citizen. I guess if we keep saying a blatant lie enough it will make it true? What value does the truth if that is all it takes to create it?

I'm not saying I like or dislike the guy but please if you want your opinions to have any merit in reality at least respect the truth.

President Obama is our president, no matter where he was born. We should have more positive things fed to our minds because we cannot change the situation until election time. Even if he was born in Ga or China we would still have something to say about where he was born so instead of me spending any more time with this foolishness I am going to the white house to ask for more money so Eastman Ga cannot create jobs for those who want to work.
