Competing in the fifth leg of the Tour of Georgia series, eleven wrestlers from Dodge County took to the mats to take on wrestlers from Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina.
After a full day of very physical wrestling, exciting over-time bouts, and a few close losses, the Jr. Indians brought home 15 medals for their efforts.
Battling in the 14U (14 & 13 years old) bracket at 105 pounds, first year wrestler Trey Mosely recorded several pins and earned a Silver medal; his second medal of his career. At 12U 95 pounds and 14U 95 pounds, seasoned wrestler Jacob Danforth recorded several first-period pins against extremely tough opponents to earn a Silver medal and Bronze medal.
