What Dick is saying here is these characters knew they needed 219 votes, so some were allowed to fake a “conservative” vote to bolster their chances for reelection, where they will continue their fakery.
Dick Morris adds:
“Once, the voters might have fallen for their trickery. But not now. The electorate is far too well-informed to believe that any Democratic congressman really opposed this bill.“
Let’s hope he’s right!
On the FREE! healthcare reform (deform) package:
“They call it free, of course. Of course, you know there is no such thing as anything really coming free, especially from the government. The government can only take from one group and give to another.”

This was a true grassroots effort by college Republicans in the Virginia governor’s race. A female college Republican was on the Martha Zoller radio show last week and told of 30 Georgia college students going to Virginia to get out the vote in the Virginia election and it helped. Student campaign workers made over 25,000 personal phone calls (not robocalls) and knocked on some 15,000 doors. Republicans swept all statewide races with around 60 percent of the vote. They went up on Thursday before the election and returned to Georgia on Tuesday, Election Day.
She pointed out that native Virginians harbored resentment for “implants” moving to their state from elsewhere to work for the Federal government and tilting the vote to more liberals, bringing their big government orientation with them. These type often try to dictate to those who grew up there how to run their state and local governments. The resentment of the locals showed in the election results, the student pointed out.
Georgia’s young voters went against the national trend and voted for McCain over Obama, she said. Georgia voters 18-30 actually went for McCain, which surprised me. Of course, Georgia’s voters are a step ahead of the pack these days, with superior intelligence showing in the Peach State.
The real tragedy of the Fort Hood massacre - it hurts diversity in the military, say the politicians in military uniforms.
“As horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.”
Army Chief of Staff General George W. Casey, Jr.
I’ve said for years that high military rank does not make one a conservative. Many officers are liberals who play the game and Casey is a good example. Diversicrat liberal generals Colin Powell and Wesley Clark are two examples of this.

Why are we obsessed with health care issues when the unemployment rate is over 10 percent and rising? It’s a government power grab, not a medical bill.
“If you’re not paying attention to the number one issue, people tend to take it out on you.”
