Deputies arrest man for motorcycle theft

On February 6, 2012, Jordan Dean (age 19), of Dexter, was arrested and charged with felony theft by taking of a motor vehicle by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the case. Dean has been released on a $3,000 transfer bond from Laurens County.

Sheriff’s investigators have solved a burglary and made two (2) arrests in a recent residential burglary that occurred on Shady Oaks Road. The alleged thieves stole a clothes dryer, a grill, a weight bench, a tool box, various tools and a roll of fence wire from the residence. Investigators were able to determine that some of the items were sold as scrap metal.

On Thursday, February 9, sheriff’s investigators arrested two people in connection with the case. Jessica Dean McDaniel (age 20) and Kevin Kyle Mills (age 20), both of Eastman, have each been charged with burglary and felony theft by taking. Mills has been released on a $13,000 bond. McDaniel is still incarcerated in the Dodge County jail.
