Recently, several hundred wrestling supporters attended the ribbon-cutting and open-house at the newly renovated wrestling gym.
The gym, located at the Peabody Complex, has undergone a complete transformation over the past few months at the hands of community volunteers and school maintenance staff.

Newly renovated wrestling gym is open
The facility will be shared by the youth club, middle school, and high school wrestling teams and is perhaps the best wrestling facility in the state of Georgia.
During the open-house attendees were treated to refreshments, a wrestling demonstration, and had the chance to win several prizes.
Winners of the events were Rhett Honeycutt, rope climb; Dr. Phillip Mannella, peg climb; Denzel Sanford, medicine ball toss; and Carl Koop non-athlete drawing.
