Remember Newt touring the USA alongside Big Al Sharpton? This was just after he made the rounds at Black Entertainment Television, apparently in the false hope that he can convert black voters to the Republicans. The BET hosts were openly hostile toward Newt. That’s Newt for you - always doing something bizarre or at least goofy. Newt should take a cue from Ronald Reagan. In Reagan’s landslide victory in 1984 he got just 37 percent of the Hispanic vote yet lost only one state. White males in Mississippi in 1984 voted 90 percent for Reagan, 10 percent for Walter Mondale.

Remember the temporary withholding tax, passed in 1943 just to get us through World War II? It’s still there and the “extremist” Ron Paul has been trying to repeal it. You would then go back to the old way of paying taxes, monthly or quarterly yourself, just as you would pay a phone bill or house payment.

No longer would companies withhold taxes from employee’s paychecks. People would quickly become aware of how much they were paying in taxes. Naturally the political class does not want this to happen so the temporary withholding tax of 1943 continues to deceive Americans. The “I got some back” mentality persists.
