Receives award

The Annual Georgia Recreation and Park Association (GRPA) banquet was held October 26, 2009. The Eastman-Dodge Recreation Department (EDRD) was the recipient of the 2009 Agency of the Year Award. To be acknowledged as Agency of the Year for the State of Georgia is a tremendous accomplishment. Eastman-Dodge Recreation Department Director Bodie Gray would like to thank the staff, board members, volunteers and community for making this award possible. Gray said, “This award is a tribute to the support, dedication and hard work from all involved with the EDRD. I am thankful and pleased to hold this award because the EDRD’s mission and the one goal in mind is to make our recreation department the best for our kids and community.” Pictured is commissioner Gary Adams (l) presenting the award to Bodie Gray (r).
