The Sports Illustrated Top 25 has Penn State ranked #4. Number four, that is, in players with the highest arrest rates. Thanks to VDare.com writer Paul Kersey for pointing this out.
VDare.com blows away the leftstream press in its coverage of the political scene. I check it daily.
“Lost in the present furor is the fact that, over the last 10 years, Penn State has come to rely on disreputable recruits to keep alive the football glory of the past.”

Check out the great ELVISNIXON.com for good coverage of the Penn State case.
“Canada is luckier than the United States in its neighbor to the south -- the U.S. has Mexico on its southern border, but Canada has the U.S. to its south, and normal people don’t want to escape from America.”

Good column and name: How I Lost 100 Pounds by Formerly Spherical on LewRockwell.com. I also need to become less spherical, maybe lose 40. I used to be thin a few years back and actually tried to gain weight in my teens. My methods seemed to work on a delayed basis years later.
In June 2010 there were 13 different government agencies running around the gulf coast area trying to clean up the oil spill.

You can’t believe the AP, the Agenda Press. In April 2010 they were pushing the absurd notion that Georgia was moving back toward the Democrats.
Errin Haynes, Associated Press writer, said the Democrats forced Senator Saxby Chambliss into a 2008 runoff. Wrong again, AP. The Libertarian candidate on the ballot was the reason for the runoff and Saxby was seen as going along with big government Republicanism.
Many Georgia voters were unhappy with George W. Bush’s big government Republicanism and protested by voting Libertarian. Faced with a Republican vs. Democrat choice in the runoff, they wisely voted R in heavy numbers. The Libertarian showed how little he cared by refusing to endorse either candidate in the runoff.
The power of incumbency and having a familiar name are two factors that are hard to overcome in an election. Many airheads rubber stamp an incumbent if they haven’t heard too many bad things about him and George W. Bush used this name familiarity to win the 2000 Republican Primary over Steve Forbes. More people realized GWB’s father used to be president than read Forbes magazine.
In this day of what John McLaughlin calls LIVs (low information voters) turning out in the millions, those traits came up big. Remember - airheads are allowed to vote in all 57 states (that’s what Obama claimed we had). Joe Biden barely won a U.S. Senate seat in 1972 and has been there for almost 40 years. Complete losers such as Biden get reelected by voters who do not know issues and simply stick with the familiar names.
When Mexico’s President Calderon addressed the U.S. Congress and trashed Arizona’s new immigration law regarding border security, Democrats stood up in the House and applauded. The voters spoke about this and some other issues in November 2010.
“Undocumented foreign day laborers” is a catchy term for the media to use. They were called illegal aliens, then undocumented aliens, now foreign day laborers. It sounds more sophisticated, says conservative talk host Laura Ingraham. Maryland’s ultraliberal governor Martin O’Malley calls them “New Americans.” Illegals get a free ride from most liberal politicians. How about some sympathy for displaced American workers.
All should read the EtherZone.com article: The Republican Establishment vs. The American People by John Bender.
