In the words of the late Sam Cook, “It got the whole world shaking, something must be going on”. No nation or community will ever be free of problems. We seem to keep forgetting that there is nothing too hard for God.
This nation continues to be one that has forgotten where she came from. Therefore, she doesn’t seem to know where she is going. Many are living like having one foot in the church and the other one across the fence.
Has America gotten too comfortable with going along just to get along? Do most Americans believe in making their community better than what they found it? This article lends itself to one of the critical areas that pertain to children today. This article pertains to discipline. The definition of discipline encompasses a multitude of strong and positive character traits including submission, consistency and faithfulness.
A man daring to be disciplined is sensitive to the voice of God and submit to him, focused and unwavering in his determination to follow God’s plan for his life, and faithful to do what God’s plan for life, and faithful to do what God commands. Wisdom reveals, harsh discipline is for him who forsakes the way and he who hates correction will die.
Discipline allows a man to act favorably in unforeseen circumstances. Some people think discipline promotes closed mindedness, but in truth, it creates an ordered, strategic way of living. Discipline actually gives you great flexibility, so that when the unexpected happens, you can respond rather than react to the situation.
Discipline prepares you for divine interruptions. Instead of resenting them and allowing chaos to occur when the unscheduled happens, you grow to see these interceptions as divine opportunities.
