School board hires baseball coach

Coach Adcock said he will raise the expectation of the kids and the parents and his fundamental aggressive coaching style will prepare players for college level play. He believes he can create a successful program by getting the kids behind him and building the team around players’ strengths and weaknesses.
“He’s a proven winner that has had success everywhere he’s been.”, said Lee Campbell, athletic director, “We are very excited to have him here.”
He is also excited about good competition within the region, mentioning hard fought games against Dublin, East Laurens, and Coach Ray Hardin’s Indians in the past. He is also excited about bringing his experience to Coach Lee Campbell’s young football program.
Coach Adcock and his wife, Gayla, have one daughter, Kendall, who will enter Dodge County High School as a sophomore. They also have one son, Thomas, who will enter the seventh grade at Dodge County Middle School.
