Dear editor,
I am so sorry to be two weeks late in thanking Paul Coogle and Barbara Brown Dean for their letters to you on September 14. Both were outstanding tributes to our community and the people who serve to lead and protect us.

It is my prayer that none of us will ever forget the evil done to our nation at Pearl Harbor as well as on 9-11. We must all stay vigilant and work to keep our country free from without AND within. GOD BLESS AMERICA ... God bless us all!!
