Dear editor,
When it comes to K-12 education, America’s parents want more choices. In fact, almost two thirds of parents – 64 percent – say they wish they had more options for their children’s education.
In a society where Americans choose practically everything, from the brands of coffee they drink in the morning to the types of cars they drive, it is understandable that parents are demanding more of a say in where they send their children to school.
Parents understand that with greater options come better results for their children. Every child is unique, with distinctive interests and learning styles. Moms and Dads know that a school that might work for one student might not be a good fit for another.
In many states, Georgia included, lawmakers have taken action to provide a more diverse variety of school choices for families.
From January 24 through January 30, millions of Americans will raise awareness about the importance of school choice at an unprecedented 16,140 events – including 419 events in Georgia. These events are planned to coincide with National School Choice Week, the largest celebration of opportunity in education in US history. For families in the Peach State, National School Choice Week provides a good opportunity to review the six different types of education options available to their children.

Bringing down The Donald
I can’t remember who said this: Go ahead, Happy Holidays me and I’ll Merry Christmas you right back.
Bumper sticker of the day: Real Trees Make Scents.
Remember Bill Clinton victim Kathleen Willey? She has a book I’d like to read: Target. Imagine any Republican getting away with sleazy Clinton’s (either one) behavior. Which person has more women accusers: Bill Clinton or Bill Cosby?
RightScoop.com has a poll of Alabama Republicans taken Aug. 8, 2015: D. Trump 31%, J. Bush 15%, B. Carson 11%, M. Rubio 11%. Jeb would like to be back at 15 percent today. Remember when the media claimed Carley Fiorina was running ahead of Trump? That didn’t work and they started saying Dr. Ben Carson was ahead of him – anything to bring down The Donald. Polls sometimes tell us more about the pollsters than the public. Somehow Trump is the bad guy to the media and the political class and the Clintons are acceptable. Crazy, isn’t it.
“The Left doesn’t fear Trump…they fear free people.”
Howard Galganov Galganov.com 7-27-15
“Most importantly for Trump’s prospects: the white working class. Not even his critics deny he has struck a chord with this demographic.”
Washington Watcher on VDARE.com 12-13-15
“End results that don’t involve government threaten liberals.”
Rush Limbaugh
Yes, liberals need your dependence.
