After an undefeated season, the Dodge County High School Indians football team lost to the Elbert County Comprehensive High School Blue Devils in the third round of state playoffs on Friday, November 20.
In the first quarter of the game, the Blue Devils scored a touchdown with 8:32 left on the clock. The kicker’s attempt at a point after touchdown (PAT) was blocked, however, leaving Elbert County in the lead with a score of 0-6.
With 2:21 left in the first quarter, Elbert scored another touchdown, this time with a successful kick. The score became 0-13 in favor of the Blue Devils.
