A community town hall meeting was held in the town of Rhine on Tuesday evening, September 20, 2011, with over 125 citizens in attendance.

The meeting was held to discuss the proposed funding for a wastewater management system for the town of Rhine. Representatives from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), engineers from Rindt-McDuff Associates, Inc. and citizens from the concerned citizens group of Rhine were in attendance to provide information at the meeting. The Dodge County High School Lady Indians wrapped up regular season play with games against Northside Warner Robins and Vidalia. Dodge defeated Northside 9-1 on the road in a make up game. Dodge hosted a good Vidalia team to wrap up the season play and fell by a 6-3 score. [Full Story »]
