Democrat Congressman Charlie Rangel, Harlem, N.Y., tax dodger a few years back, compared Republicans to the Ku Klux Klan. You could call it playing the Klan card. Rangel said the Klan now wore blue suits with red ties and talked a lot about tax cuts. Could he have been describing you? I could fit that description. If you think taxes are too high and tax rates should be lowered, even though this is a provable way to increase the tax take through job growth, you could be a Klan sympathizer. [Full Story »] 

During the May 3, 2007 Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Library, the ten Republicans running invoked Ronald Reagan’s name nineteen times. Remember back when the Republican establishment and media “experts” told us he was too far right to ever be elected president? Let’s see how many times they mention his name this year. I’m guessing more than nineteen.
