Roger Stone (StoneZone.com) calls fake “conservative” Kathleen Parker “Benedict Arnold in a dress.” She bashes conservatives while claiming to be one. She is syndicated by the Washington P--- writers group. Does that tell you something? Whenever liberals want to show us the proper behavior for “conservatives” they trot out Ms. Parker as their example. [Full Story »]

Dear editor,
I would like to report an incident that occurred on July 24, 2011. This incident happened on the Antioch Church Road. This incident involved Officer Thomas of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department.
I respect each farmer growing up on a farm and working on one. Sometimes an irrigation system may shoot water on a vehicle. As I passed the irrigation system I swerved across the road in order to prevent the water from hitting my vehicle because my window was down. Officer Thomas pulled me over and asked me did I know why he pulled me over. I told him that I was trying to prevent the water from hitting me; because I knew I was not doing 55. [Full Story »]

Resisting and opposing foreign adventurism and nation building is not isolationism, it is a prudent course of action. The good folks at CATO Institute agree.

The White House made House Speaker John Boehner an offer he could refuse: to become the tax collector for President Barack Obama’s entitlement state.
The so-called grand bargain that Boehner eschewed wasn’t so grand. It would have raised taxes by $1 trillion while leaving untouched the federal government’s newest unsustainable entitlement program, ObamaCare, and preserving the bankrupting structure of the legacy entitlement programs. Dear editor,
I would like to thank the staff at The Dodge County News for sharing the recent business conducted at our Dodge County commissioner’s meeting. It’s very important that the decisions we make are transparent to the citizens of Dodge County. For that reason, I would like to clarify the facts concerning the purchase of new patrol cars for our sheriff’s department at the cost of almost $50,000.00 each. [Full Story »]

Dear editor,
I would like consideration given to equal time in rebuttal of a letter written by Mrs. Starla P. Allen complaining of a traffic ticket issued by a police officer for the Laurens Police Department in Laurens County, Georgia on June 11, 2011.
First, my deepest sympathy and sorrow for the loss and personal grief that Mrs. Allen and her family is experiencing right now on the death of her father-in-law, which is the focal point of her caustic remarks given in your newspaper about the Laurens P. D.
