On Wednesday afternoon, November 25, law enforcement officers served a search warrant on a residence on Lietch Street in the Sunset area of Eastman. The warrant was the result of a joint investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit and the Oconee Drug Task Force. The Eastman Police Department assisted the sheriff’s office and the task force in serving the warrant. A small quantity of suspected cocaine, along with scales and plastic bags, was discovered at the residence during the search. As a result of the joint investigation, Bruce Level (age 38) of Eastman, was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of the sale of cocaine and one (1) count of possession of cocaine. Better Business Bureau (BBB) warns that the holiday season provides many new opportunities for identity thieves to ply their trade and offers the following advice on how to keep your identity safe and secure both online and off.
Identity theft can happen to you whether you’re shopping online or shopping at the mall, making it critical that we all take specific steps to fight both low and high-tech ID thieves. Actuality is a state of being while reality is the state of being real. Life will always be about the choices we make for ourselves. When it comes to our everyday living I wonder how long will we continue to be a counterfeiter. We often give the impression that we are squeaky clean. In life we have become too divided. Making wrong choices can cause a person to pay a terrible price. Life will always be about some give and take.
When something is wrong you should know where to put the blame. The only guaranteed is found in Jesus Christ. When we look for simple answers we often find ourselves skating on thin ice. Although there have been two, we are not willing to die for the right reason. It was Jesus Christ who died for our sins and the American soldier who died for our freedom. [Full Story »]
