At first, it appeared to be a normal case when Laurens County Sheriff’s narcotics investigators arrested Rachel Moore on September 30, 2008. She allegedly had the narcotic Carisoprodol, commonly known as the muscle relaxer Soma, in her possession.
Allegedly, Moore hadn’t just bought the pills from a pharmacy – but off the street. So investigators Jamie Jackson and Chris Brewer asked Moore to call her seller – a woman named Rebecca White. When White was arrested en route to meet Moore, she allegedly had more Soma as well as Alprazolam known as the anxiety treatment Xanax, and pain pills known as Darvocet in her possession.
