African nation leaders need more money from the “rich” nations of the world, a mere “$67 billion per year to mitigate the impact of global warming on the world’s poorest continent, according to a draft resolution seen by Reuters on Monday,” says writer Tsegaye Tadesse on Reuters.com. That should be the name of the week.
This sounds great to me - a mere - just $67,000,000,000 ($67 billion) per year breaks down to a mere $183,561,640 per day ($183.56 million). After all, we’re rich and have money stacked to the ceiling to send to poor countries in perpetuity.
