Paul Harvey said a couple of years back that 40 percent of Americans take their cars in for regular servicing but only 33 percent take themselves in for regular medical tune-ups. I miss Paul. For months after he left us I started to check the radio for his broadcasts at 8:30 and noon each day. I seldom missed a Paul Harvey newscast and often sent him stories which I would later hear him read on the air in his unmistakable style. I knew he was 90 and still figured he could go on for years.
