Eastman firemen were called to a fire at Shorty’s Used Cars on the Soperton Road at approximately 12:42 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11.
When firemen arrived, the shop area in the rear of the building was engulfed in flames. The fire quickly spread to the office area. It took firemen approximately two hours to get the fire under control. [Full Story »]

Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies and Dodge EMS, along with first responders from both the Gresston and Roddy Volunteer Fire Departments, responded late Monday afternoon, August 3, around 6:00 p.m. to an overturned vehicle on Carrigg Circle in Gresston. The driver of the vehicle, Michael David Carrigg (age 30) of an Eastman address, was injured and transported to Dodge County Hospital. [Full Story »]
