Dodge County Sheriff’s Detention Officers were assaulted during an escape at the Dodge County jail on Saturday, July 4, 2009.

Two detention officers responded to a fight in a jail cell shortly after 5:00 p.m. Anthony Brown (age 39) struck one of the officers with a broom stick as the officers entered the cell. While the first two detention officers subdued Brown, a second inmate, Talmage Eugene Bray (age 42) ran out of the cell. Bray ran up the cell block to the booking room door where he met a third detention officer who was responding to assist the first two officers. Bray punched and knocked down the third detention officer at the booking room doorway to escape. [Full Story »]
