City elections are set for Tuesday, November 3 in Eastman, Chauncey and Milan.
In Eastman, incumbent District 5 city councilman David Rawlins will face off against political newcomer Marlas Williamson.
In Eastman District 1, incumbent councilperson Idele Walker is not facing opposition.
The polls will be open at the Eastman City Hall from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In Chauncey, those who qualified to fill three council seats are as follows: William “Dub” Atkins, Carrie B. Carr, Roger Davis, Aaron B. Howard, Jr., Theron McCranie and Nancy Winans. The top three vote getters will be elected.
In Milan, running for mayor is incumbent Jimmy Kirkland. He faces no opposition.
Those running for council are Chad Puckett (incumbent), Cricket Williamson (incumbent), Freddie Dorris, Jr. (incumbent), Glenda B. Taylor (incumbent), Inez Marchant Douglas (incumbent), Kathy McDaniel and Roy R. Selph. The top five vote getters will be elected.
The election will be held in the City of Milan from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Telfair County precinct.
