Deputies make arrests, solve burglaries

Dodge County sheriff’s investigators have solved several burglaries and thefts throughout the county over the last several weeks.
Sheriff’s investigators solved two burglaries that occurred at residences on Lake Destiny Drive and Pete Sapp Road recently. Investigators arrested two individuals on July 18 in connection with the burglaries. Deputies arrested William Perry McCrannie (age 24) and Amy Roberts (age 21), both of Eastman and charged both with two (2) counts of burglary in connection with the cases.
Deputies arrested three (3) people in connection with the burglary of a residence on North Street in Eastman on July 13. On that date, three (3) individuals broke into a home and found the resident at home. The three fled the scene when confronted by the resident and were later captured by deputies. Jabarri King (age 17) of Eastman, and two (2) juveniles, were charged with burglary in connection with the case.

Sheriff’s investigators have arrested five (5) individuals in connection with the multiple thefts from a property on Pine Level Church Road over the last month. On Monday July 25, investigators arrested Roy Lee English (age 57) and Sandy Ray English (age 46), both of Eastman, and charged each with theft by taking. The pair allegedly stole a boat motor from the property, which was later recovered by investigators.
Sheriff’s investigators have arrested three (3) other suspects for allegedly stealing from the same property on Pine Level Church Road. Those suspects are Morris Sentell Lockett (age 29), Robert Robertson (age 45), and Tammy Teresa Spires (age 40), all of Eastman. All three have been charged with felony theft by taking in connection with the case.

Sheriff’s investigators recovered three (3) stolen firearms from a residence on Jim Pruett Road after serving a search warrant at the residence and arrested two (2) individuals. Alan Bennet Peacock (age 48) and Curtis Peacock (age 19) have each been charged with theft by receiving stolen property. The Peacocks were allegedly in possession of the stolen firearms. One firearm was stolen out of Bibb County and the other two firearms were taken in a burglary that occurred in Bleckley County.
Sheriff’s investigators and deputies recovered a stolen 2008 Chevrolet Silverado truck last Wednesday, July 20 on Friendship Baptist Church Road. Investigators have charged Kevin Wise (age 28) with the theft of the motor vehicle along with multiple counts of forgery and possession of crack cocaine.

Investigators have charged Timothy Everett (age 44), of Ashburn, with felony theft by taking. Everett allegedly stole some tractor trailer tires from a business on Middle Ground Church Road.
Sheriff’s investigators have charged Willie Searles (age 44), of Eastman, with the theft of a motor vehicle from a residence on the Antioch Church Road. The vehicle was a 1990 Mazda Mirage.
Ernest Landmesser (age 32), of Eastman, was charged with possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct by deputies on July 14 after being called to a residence on Ben Giddens Road to a dispute.
