According to Officer Thomas, I bounced across the road like three times. So he told me to step out of my truck and blow into his breathalyzer. I blew in it and according to officer Thomas I wasn’t blowing in it right. He said he was going to perform a sobriety test. I explained to Officer Thomas that I had severe pain on my right side. Officer Thomas still made me perform more tests.
Needless to say I had a very hard time because of my mental condition. Officer Thomas’ backup arrived. So I blew in his machine and he couldn’t find anything. Officer Thomas preceded to do more tests. Officer Thomas apparently called in and found out I was on medication. Officer Thomas, you wanted to find alcohol or other street drugs in my system. I explained to officer Thomas that I work five days a week, Monday through Friday, as a certified peer specialist.
Officer Thomas you broke every stereotype in the book. I have absolutely no problem admitting that I have the diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia. I have the diagnosis of schizophrenia but schizophrenia doesn’t have me.
Officer Thomas do you know what stereotype means? I feel like if I would have put my hands in my pocket and the Caucasian cop was around, he would have slammed me down to the blacktop – black police showing out for the white cop.
Officer Thomas told me if he really wanted to be a jerk about it he could have took me in because I was intoxicated. Well you was real mean about it and you did not do me any favors.
So I’m sure this will spark a great deal of harassment. Officer Thomas, I know you have to please your sheriff. I wonder what’s next, a cross burning in my yard? Constant harassment on one of the biggest plantations around.
So I guess people with mental illness diagnosis can’t drive or conduct themselves like quote “unquote” normal people? Officer Thomas get you a dictionary so you can tell me what normal means.
Officer_______ I keep forgetting your name. I guess that’s because of my mental illness.
If you and your high paying salary can’t afford a dictionary go online and look up the words I mentioned.
In conclusion, keep up the good work and remember God serves the just as well as the unjust.

Schizophrenia is a mental illness that the public and law enforcement agencies should be educated about because we have more than we think living among us with this illness. No they are not crazy until you educate yourself about Schizophrenia then you will think so. I have overseen the care of people with this illness, I know what it is like for them.

When you "educate yourself," you will now know for certain they are crazy, not just think it?
