The Middle Georgia Hurricanes 12U Fast Pitch Softball Team traveled to Carrollton on June 11-12, 2011 to participate in the USSSA State Tournament. The Hurricanes played nine games and had a weekend record of 7 and 2. The girls worked their way out of the losers’ bracket to come back and win the championship game in a shoot-out over the Georgia Fire by the score of 4 to 0.
