The Second Annual Spring Buddy Ball was held on May 7, 2011. Buddy Ball is a baseball game for children with special needs who would not ordinarily have the opportunity to participate in team sports. Sixty children with special needs, ages three to 15 from Dodge, Bleckley, and Pulaski Counties, participated in this event. Special appreciation to all volunteers and donors that helped to make this event possible. Pictured is Nicholas Burkard, a student at North Dodge Elementary School, and his buddy, Macy Deeson.
