Take a close look at this picture. It shows a young doe that has been killed.
Don’t bring it to our road
The meat was taken from the hind legs and everything else was dumped on Sweet Home Road half a mile past Quality Saw Works. This was done by poachers. Why else would it be dumped like this?
I am an animal lover but I’m not a vegetarian. Why didn’t you salvage the other meat and give it to a food bank or a homeless shelter? If it wasn’t usable, why not dispose of it in some other manner?
We walk up and down this road. We ride our kids and grandkids on golf carts up and down this road. Please do not use our road for dumping stray dogs or dead animals.
I hope whoever did this will use better judgment or maybe even get caught poaching.
If you do not want your meat from a hunt, bury or burn what’s left. Don’t bring it to our road.
