Deputies arrest burglary suspect

Sheriff’s investigators have arrested an Eastman man for illegal tattooing on February 3. Investigators have charged Billy Weeks, a.k.a “Tattoo Billy” (age 44), with nineteen (19) misdemeanor counts of tattooing a person under the age of eighteen (18) and for operating a tattoo parlor without a permit.

A sixteen (16) year old female from Norcross was arrested Sunday morning at Dodge State Prison in Chester. The female allegedly attempted to smuggle contraband into the prison during inmate visitation. Correctional officers intercepted the contraband and turned the suspect over to Dodge County deputies. It was later discovered that the female was using someone else’s driver’s license for identification to gain entry to the prison and that in fact the female was actually sixteen (16). The female was charged with felony crossing guard lines with contraband and giving false information to a law enforcement officer. The female was later released and turned over to the Juvenile Court.
