Bill Kristol is one of those media-appointed “conservatives,” designed to take real conservatives off the television screen. Kristol, like his father Irving Kristol, who died recently, are just warmed-over liberals, neocons. Bill Kristol a few months back described opponents of illegal immigration as “yahoos.” Count me in as a yahoo. He is an elitist who does not like working class Republicans. Without working class voters the Republican Party would be totally powerless.
Remember former Texas Congressman Tom Delay on Dancing With the Stars? He was run out of office by liberals armed with phony indictments. Nothing was ever done or proven since he did nothing wrong.
Remember Republican Caspar “Cap” Weinberger, conveniently indicted two days before the 1992 election? The charges were dropped the next week. Timing is everything in the political game.
From LeBoutillier.blogspot.com:
“Obama is like Chinese food: it fills you up and you feel great - for about two hours. Then it wears off and you’re hungry again. The media comes off as pathetic. None has the guts to criticize Obama; in fact, most of them have invested themselves in the whole Obama dream. They don’t want to get in the way of a potential Obama presidency.”
former Congressman John LeBoutillier 8-30-08
John LeBoutillier was a great Congressman, elected to the House from suburban New York City at age 27 in the Reagan landslide in November 1980. A Harvard graduate, wrote the book Harvard Hates America.
Warren Buffett’s father Howard Buffett, his political opposite, was considered the Ron Paul of his day, an Omaha stockbroker turned libertarian-conservative Congressman. Howard was a good friend of libertarian legend Murray Rothbard.
“Congressman Buffett’s son, while revering Pop as a tower of integrity and honesty, seems not to have inherited the old man’s libertarian streak. Warren Buffett is a liberal Democrat whose favorite political causes are legalized abortion and population control.”
Bill Kauffman
“Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.”
William Pitt, 1783 (1759-1806)
I wonder what William Pitt would think of Cash for Clunkers. He would be a bit surprised to see a clunker, wouldn’t he. He would regard today’s political system itself as a clunker, one to be junked.
Bumper sticker of the day: Irony is Andrew Jackson on a central bank note.

“Whatever you think of the moose-hunting mayor, she isn’t an insider, and it was insiders who dragged America through the mud over the last two decades. That makes her - one way or another - a voice for ordinary people, one of us. The persistent trashing of Sarah Palin is a trashing of ordinary Americans.”

In an unguarded moment, the Big O admitted his true feelings, letting the liberal thoughts fly. Mr. Smooth slipped up.
“Anger over welfare and affirmative action helped forge the Reagan coalition.”
