Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies have made several arrests for drug charges over the last couple of weeks as the result of traffic enforcement.
On Wednesday, November 24, deputies arrested Terrance Carr (age 30) of Chauncey, as the result of a traffic stop on the WPA Road.
Carr was charged with possession of marijuana, obstruction of an officer, driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol/drugs, driving an uninsured vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol in vehicle.
On Thursday, November 25, Phillip Nutt (age 20) of Tifton, was arrested as the result of a traffic stop on Georgia Highway 46. Nutt has been charged with possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle without a seat belt.
