Man arrested for auto theft

Dodge County Sheriff’s investigators have recovered a stolen Toyota truck and a Bobcat bulldozer.

Investigators have arrested James Andrew Wood (age 42), of an address located in the Gresston Community.

Wood has been charged with two (2) counts of felony theft by taking of a motor vehicle.

Wood has been released from the Dodge County jail on a $6,000.00 bond set by the magistrate court.

Sheriff’s investigators state that there are other unrecovered stolen vehicles involved in the case and that Wood may face additional charges in the future. The investigation is ongoing, according to officials.
A correction to last week’s story; Brian McDaniel was charged felony theft by receiving in connection with the theft of an all terrain vehicle (ATV) rather than that of a boat.
