Light display brightens holidays

Mandy Herring said, “I think [the Tripp family is] doing a wonderful thing. You have given my family a wonderful Christmas tradition.” A first time visitor said, “There isn’t a word invented yet on how fantastic, awesome, awe inspiring and fantasy like (the lights) are. I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Some of the buildings looked like one could just go up and pinch a piece off and eat it. (The display) is better than Callaway Gardens.” The Odom family of Dudley said, “Breath taking and absolutely amazing. If at all possible we will never miss this beautiful and tastefully done Christmas light presentation.”

The lights will be on starting Sunday, November 28 and ending on Wednesday, December 29 during the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Santa Claus will be appearing for children and families on December 4th-5th, 10th-12th, and 17th-24th during the hours of 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. The Tripp Family Christmas Lights is located in Yonkers at 63 Macedonia Church Road off of Highway 257 between Chester and Empire.
