We need teachers that are trained in what they are teaching.

3. We need the gay agenda moved OUT of education, it has no place in the schools where our students are one of the worst world wide.
We have children not learning in school; whose fault is this? It is ours! Not just the teachers, but parents too. Parents need to take responsibility for the upbringing of their children, and quit using the schools as baby sitters. They need to get involved, as our parents did. Make sure we do our homework, keep our children out of the gangs and the wrong crowd of people. Know where your child is.

I remember growing up where the USA would have spelling bees and math quizzes with children from other countries. We do not have this any more; wonder why? The other countries have a better education than our own children. That is why people from other countries can come to the USA and get better jobs, for they took advantage of their education and actually learned, where our students are becoming, for the lack of better words, they are becoming stupid. Our students are more involved in games, Facebook, texting and ipods, than to learn, and we are raising a generation of stupid children. I was in China last year. I was amazed at a 10 year old girl who was working on math subjects I did not start learning until high school. This is not just the problem of our governor, but this is the problem of each parent and each teacher who thinks that giving a kid a laptop is going to make them learn more. You just gave them the ability to play solitaire all day, or visit Facebook, e-mail friends, rather than to do actual learning. This is NOT going to get better until WE decide on what is important. Teaching our children, or letting them run on their own and get involved in gangs where they learn to steal, sell drugs, and we wonder why our teenage was shot. One of the reasons home schooling is booming, those students are getting a better education; test results prove this.
