Dear editor,
Our congress has the lowest rating than any congress in the history of our country, so look at the leaders first, then those that back them.
We must then decide who should be fired. Speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi said she would make sure to rid the house of corruption (republicans), yet she will prop up people like Charlie Range, Barney Frank and others that were bribed to pass the health care bill.
Majority leader of the senate Harry Reed, who cut special deals for his state Nebraska and Louisiana Purchase, special deals for union members. These two should be fired election day in November 2010.
We citizens of Dodge County can help fire Nancy Pelosi by voting for Austin Scott for U.S. House of Representatives against Jim Marshall. Some will ask, why against Jim Marshall? The reason is a vote for him is a vote for Nancy Pelosi. In the eight years he has been in the congress he has not presented any bill except to change the name of a national park. He did vote a few times against liberal bills, but it was only after Nancy Pelosi had the secured 216 votes she would need to pass the bill, because she is desperately trying to save that Georgia seat for the liberal democrats due to the fact that in the national election, the democrats failed to carry Georgia.
If Nancy Pelosi was serious about having a transparent congress, why wasn’t the debates on the health bill posted on C-Span like the three top leaders (Obama, Pelosi, Reed) promised it would be for the public to witness? Pelosi stated on national TV that congress should pass the bill so she could find out what was in the bill. She had never read it nor did Jim Marshall. One way to judge this would be for you that need a new car is to buy one without ever trying it out, nor even seeing it, just take the car company’s word that it’s all you need to know. This is what Jim Marshall is for in Washington D.C.
Austin Scott has a proven record in the Georgia House, and a vote for Scott is a vote closer to firing Pelosi. Please let’s fire her.
