Lady Indians win three over Telfair, Dublin and East Laurens

Against Dublin on Tuesday, the Lady Indians were lead by: Brittany Sorrell was 4-for-4 including a triple, with three runs scored, three RBIs and three runs scored; Caitlin Greer was 3-for-3 including a double; three RBIs, four runs scored and a stolen base; Jaye Hilliard was 2-for-3, two runs scored and two stolen bases; Jayme Yearty was 2-for-3 with double, two RBIs, one run scored, and a stolen base; Ashton Holt was 2-for-3 including a double, three RBIs, and two runs scored; Amitie Hussey was 1-for-3 with two RBIs, three runs scored and a stolen base; Jamie Michael Jones was 1-for-3 with three RBIs, two runs scored, and two stolen bases; Katie Selph was 1-for-2 including a double, three RBIs, two runs scored, a stolen base and one sacrifice; Adele Harrison was 1-for-3, a run scored and three stolen bases; Summer Dix was 1-for-1 including a double and two RBIs; Madison Mullis was 1-for-1 with a run scored and two stolen bases; Ashley Roland scored a run. Holt pitched one inning striking out two. Katie Selph pitched two innings striking out four allowing one hit and no earned runs.

On Thursday’s win over East Laurens, the leaders for Dodge were: Ashton Holt was 3-for-3 including a homerun and a double with three RBIs; Caitlin Greer was 2-for-3 including a double, two RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base; Amitie Hussey was 2-for-2 including a double, two RBIs and one run scored; Katie Selph was 2-for-3 with an RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases; Bridgette Coleman was 2-for-2 including a double, two RBIs and one run scored; Brittany Sorrell was 2-for-3 including two doubles and one RBI; Jamie Michael Jones was 1-for-3 with a run scored; Adele Harrison was 1-for-3 with a run scored. Holt again was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and allowing one hit. Holt is now 19-3 on the season.

The Lady Indians have one game scheduled this week as they travel to Vidalia on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 and then return home for their final regular season home game against Telfair County on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The region playoffs will begin on Thursday, September 30, 2010.
