The Dodge County Lady Indians softball team had a busy week last week as they had two big sub-region games against East Laurens and Bleckley County and then traveled to Watkinsville for six games in the North Oconee Veterans Memorial Invitational Tournament.
Dodge split their sub-region games last week as they defeated East Laurens 14-4 and then lost 2-6 to Bleckley County in a rematch with the Lady Royals who they defeated earlier.
The Lady Indians faced some stiff competition in the tournament over the weekend.
They faced two AAAA teams in Winder Barrow and Greenbrier.
They also faced the number one team in AAA, Oconee County and then the fourth ranked team in AA, Blessed Trinity plus two other northern AA teams in Jackson County and Morgan County.
Dodge County went 3-3 in the tournament.
