I knew some of you but most of you were strangers and I appreciated all the kind words you shared with me. I enjoyed hearing how beautiful all of you thought the flowers and yard looked. Some of you even pointed out your favorite flowerbeds.
My beautiful yard would not be possible without a wonderful landlord like Lolly Fordham. It also would not have been possible without Andrea McCranie who brought me most of the flowers and other friends who brought me a birdbath and wind chimes.
Many years ago I prayed to God for Him to bless me with a small house and a yard and in return I promised to fill it with flowers. He answered my prayers and I kept my promise.
God sent many people to me this year, some who were almost like angels. There were times I would come home and strangers had left things on my porch that I badly needed. With God’s help and the kind words of people in my community, this has given me my best year.
