The annual fall festival will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. along Main Street in downtown Eastman.
Sponsored by the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Merchant’s Council, the fall festival unites the community in a night of fun, trick-or-treating and family activities.
The chamber of commerce would like to thank Shorty’s Quik Stop Auto for the use of inflatable gyms during the festival.
New this year is the downtown decoration contest, where your downtown merchants will decorate their storefronts and outlying businesses can sponsor a lamp-post for decoration.

The children should be getting prizes for the best original costumes, funniest, scariest, or maybe even prettiest. But to give the stores trophies to display while the community of children that attend do not get anything. How ridiculous can this town get?
The community shops at these stores all year long. The shops should be damn glad we do, and help do something that keeps our young folks off the streets with good clean fun.
